The historic symbiosis between cork and wine dates back several centuries.

Over the years, knowledge, wisdom, and experience accumulated and were used to improve cork stoppers and their ability to preserve precious liquids. Technology, in particular, played an important role in these improvements.

At Lafitte, we work tirelessly to innovate, creating new ways to sustainably protect every bottle of wine with corks that are free of TCA and off-odors, so that every moment of enjoyment comes as close to perfection as possible.

All for perfection.

PerfectGo

Our PerfectGO technology enables the non-intrusive, individual analysis of corks by measuring the TCA level of each cork—even when it is below the detection limit—thereby ensuring that batches are 100% TCA-free*.

The combination of PerfectGO technology and the natural qualities of cork ensures perfection in every bottle, honoring the sacred ritual of opening a fine wine.

Max Clean Evolution

Max Clean Evolution is a two-phase sterilization and deodorization system that uses pressure, dry steam, temperature, and time to produce natural cork stoppers that are free of any odor and, better yet, free of TCA.

Laser Branding

Our laser engraving machine is the latest innovation in the cork stopper engraving market. It replaces ink and flame engraving, ensuring high-resolution engraving on cork stoppers.

Laser engraving does not require most of the materials used in painting and branding, such as stencils, ink, solvents, and other cleaning products. In addition, it reduces production and delivery times. Laser engraving is, without a doubt, the most efficient and sustainable way to “leave your mark.”
